For memorial day, we wanted to share a healthy recipe with you! This is a perfect recipe for this warm weather and for anyone with a sweet tooth! Here is a healthy alternative for a holiday dessert! Check out the ingredients list and instructions below!
1 cup Greek Yogurt
1 tbsp Honey
Other fruits of your choice
For the watermelon “crust”, cut the watermelon in half and cut slices of circles about 1 inch thick.
For the “pizza sauce” spread, I mixed vanilla greek yogurt with a little bit of honey (about 1 tablespoon). You can use any flavor of greek yogurt, whatever you like best! Once you have the watermelon cut, just spread the yogurt/honey mixture on the top of the watermelon.
For the toppings, you can use any fruit of your choice! Bananas, strawberries, and blueberries are what I used, but kiwi, grapes, and pineapple are also delicious options!
