May Newsletter

Hey friends!

As we are well into May, we cannot wait to see what the summer brings. While we are working with a few people to secure a permanent location for A Place at the Table, we are planning events to spread awareness, build community, and eat great food with each and every one of you.

We will host a pop-up each month that gives us the opportunity to be in relationship with one another at the table. We can’t tell you enough how much we enjoyed our last pop-up.  If you missed the April pop-up, check out some highlights here. We have a few events coming up (see below) and look forward to seeing you!Volunteer

  • We will have a fellowship evening at b.good on Thursday, June 23. A percentage of proceeds will go to APATT. Come out for a healthy meal, great community time, and a live performance by The String Peddlers. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer.
  • Hadley’s will be hosting our next pay-what-you-can pop-up on Saturday, July 23rd. Chef Sean Degnan and Todd Ohle will make an unforgettable meal that you will not want to miss. Stay tuned for more details!

Thank you for being loyal supporters to APATT. We could not do this work without you. Please keep the good thoughts and prayers flowing in for APATT to find a permanent spot!

Email me at maggie@tableraleigh.org if you have any questions, want to grab a cup of coffee to hear more about APATT, or are interested in getting involved.

Peace today, tomorrow, and the summer ahead,

Maggie Kane

Executive Director
