February Newsletter

We may be just two months into 2016, but it has been a year of overwhelming support and excitement for A Place at the Table. We are thankful for your encouragement and constant presence at our events and fundraisers. The most rewarding part of this journey has been building community with you.

A few updates:

As you may have noticed, construction is currently paused for our Hillsborough St. location. Once development resumes in the next few weeks, we will be counting down the days until we can open! In the meantime, we are going to host several pop-up cafe events where we will “pop up” in various locations to provide community and health food for all regardless of means. These events will serve as a model for what our cafe will be like once we open for operation.

Mark your calendars for our first pop-up cafe at Solas on Glenwood Ave. on April 2nd from 11 AM – 2 PM. Grab your friends and drop in at any point during that time for a delicious, pay-what-you-can community brunch. Stay tuned for more details this week and throughout the rest of the month!

Blind Pig Supper Club was a success! We met great people and had a once-in-a-lifetime meal. Thanks to everyone who attended and supported APATT. BPSC 2

Our fundraiser at The Upper Deck Sports Bar in Cary has been rescheduled to April 16th from 7-10 PM. Come out to see one of our own sing in the String Peddlers.

Kirk of Kildaire held a delicious crock-pot soup lunch for us. We are thankful for their support!

Want to volunteer with us? Sign up here and stay up-to-date on volunteer opportunities!

Thank you for continuing to think good thoughts and pray for us. We cannot wait until we finally are able to sit at the table with you!

Peace to you and your communities,
APATT team
