Today we profile Seeds, a very successful cafe in our OWEE (One World Everybody Eats) organization. Located in Colorado Springs, CO, in view of Pike’s Peak, and open since 2013, the cafe has helped 32 people find full time living wage jobs through their job training program, served 60,000 delicious and healthy meals, involved over 2,000 volunteers resulting in over 30,000 hours of volunteer service in the community, and trained 367 people in their healthy cooking classes.
While each OWEE cafe has a unique personality, these outcomes give us all a vision of what we can and want to do in Raleigh and Wake County. Want to see more about Seeds? Watch this video:
